Wow! What a summer it has been down in Victoria, TX with INVISTA! We're celebrating National Intern Day at Koch, so I wanted to give a update on my experience. As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, I’ve been gaining hands-on experience at a chemical processing plant by working directly with machinery, finding opportunities to improve reliability, and growing my skills in communication, data analysis, and the application of PBM. What an incredible journey it's been, but I couldn’t have done it without the support and guidance of the engineers and team members here on site! I'm filled with immense gratitude for the joy and growth this opportunity brought, and I'm looking forward to coming back to KS and building on the experience and connections cultivated from my time here!

Happy National Intern Day! 🎉 This summer I had the opportunity to work with Flint Hills Resources Procurement Team as a Supply Chain Intern, supporting the Pine Bend Refinery. I have had a wonderful summer here at Koch, learning about Principle Based Management and the importance of being a lifelong learner. These experiences will continue to inspire my professional journey. A huge thank you to Sarah Freeman and Carl Schmidt who offered their endless guidance and support throughout my internship. #lifeatKoch #NationalInternDay

The Koch Pro Bono Initiative, in partnership with Baker Botts and the Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles, was recently announced as this year’s recipient of the CPBO Pro Bono Partner Award by the Pro Bono Institute. This award was made possible through the efforts of Koch Methanol employees in St. James Parish, Louisiana, who worked with the Pro Bono Initiative to conduct local driver’s license clinics aimed at helping people regain their driving privileges. It’s a great example of the power of partnership, and the good that can happen when employees leverage their strengths to change lives and enrich their communities. Did you know Molex’s Quad-Row™ connector is the size of a grain of rice? Behind that tiny size is a massive engineering challenge. To keep up with shrinking device space, the team had to rethink what a connector could be. See how they made it happen in the latest episode of Koch Makes This: https://xmrrwallet.com/cmx.plnkd.in/d2reZASm
