  • AI can’t reach its full potential without high-quality human data. Read our latest from Marina Stein Lundahl to learn why primary research in the age of AI is not just relevant, but the essential fuel for trustworthy, nuanced and actionable insights: https://xmrrwallet.com/cmx.pfh.pr/E8r5x

  • Day 2 at #BlackHat2025 offered plenty to reflect on. Nicole Perlroth (ex-NYT) opened with a keynote reminding us that the tech industry can learn from the mistakes of the 2008 financial crisis, moving fast and breaking things too often means someone else pays the price. From the ground, our Miranda Sanders shared these learnings: 🚨 Critical Infrastructure Under Threat: Attacks are escalating, increasingly targeting society’s essential services. Alarmingly, many start with simple social engineering rather than sophisticated hacks. 🩺 The Human Toll: The impact of cyber incidents is becoming painfully real. Ransomware can cripple hospitals, preventing lifesaving care. NGOs in conflict zones face breaches that endanger lives. These are no longer abstract threats, they have direct human costs. 🌐 A Moral Responsibility: Organizations can’t innovate in isolation. There’s a growing obligation for companies to build and deploy technology ethically, prioritizing the safety of customers, partners, and the public. That’s a wrap from the ground at #BHSUSA 2025. Stay tuned for our final thoughts on the year’s key lessons for communications leaders. In the meantime, tell us what stood out to you at Black Hat this year? Let’s keep the conversation going.

🎉 We’re thrilled to announce that, together with our incredible client Icelandair, our Iceland: Too Good to Be True (but it is) campaign has been shortlisted for not one, but TWO Creative Moments Awards! 👊💥 🏆 Creative Travel Campaign of the Year 🏆 Creative Auto/Transport Campaign of the Year In an age where AI-generated imagery dominates travel content and fuels cynicism, we took a stand for unfiltered reality and cut through the artificial noise with a campaign that reminded the world that Iceland's raw, powerfully real beauty surpasses digital imagination. This recognition is just the beginning of our year-long journey to champion authenticity in travel, and what an incredible way for things to takeoff! ✈️ Huge shoutout to our amazing FH team, Phillippa S., Gaby Roberts, Lewis Carney, Andrew Szwajkowski, Adam Wyatt, Lauren Winter, and fantastic partners Icelandair and Hvíta húsið – this was a true collaboration across many global teams. • It’s only day one here at #BHUSA in Las Vegas, but a clear theme is emerging: AI security isn’t just the top concern for organizations, it’s also their biggest opportunity. Reporting from the ground, our Miranda Sanders shares what’s dominating conversations:   🔒 Security at the Center of Global Challenges: From geopolitics and disaster response to fighting extremism, robust cybersecurity is the thread that connects resilient nations and communities. But connectivity is only an asset if it’s secure.   💰 Ransomware Goes Corporate: Ransomware gangs are modernizing, branding their operations, and even launching “products” with “AI-powered negotiation support.” The arms race is real—and it’s accelerating.   ⚡ AI-Powered Attacks: Faster, Smarter, More Frequent: AI hasn’t just created new attack surfaces—it’s changed the game. Attacks are now happening 3x more often and moving 100x faster than before.   🕵️♂️ Hijacked AI Models: Attackers are backdooring LLMs, embedding malicious code in downloadable models. The risk: organizations may unknowingly run compromised AI.   🔮 Model Context Protocol (MCP): The Quiet Revolution: Almost no one is talking about MCP, but it’s set to become mission-critical for seamless, secure AI integration in the near future.   Bottom line: AI presents incredible opportunities—but only if organizations build a culture of security, awareness and adaptability. The human factor has never mattered more.

  • Reputation is now a #cybersecurity issue. 🔒 In a landscape where regulators are watching and threat actors don’t always ask for ransom, your technical defense is only half the battle. The other half? Telling the right story with speed, clarity and credibility. In his latest piece, Scott Radcliffe explores the power of pairing #IT and #Communications teams to translate complexity, build trust and plan for the unpredictable. 📖 Read more: https://xmrrwallet.com/cmx.pfh.pr/jdsLU

  • You’ve launched the tools. The training’s done. 🤔 So why isn’t your AI adoption sticking? The problem isn’t the tech. It’s the gap between what leaders expect and what employees experience. Our new POV breaks down the 3 layers where things stall, across the organization, the team and the individual. More importantly, it shows how to get unstuck. If you’re serious about driving AI adoption, read our blog to learn how to listen for the quiet cues: https://xmrrwallet.com/cmx.pfh.pr/bRMzu
