This week I directly acted on a podcast sponsorship... and I think it was a first! I'm sure it has happened before (given the effectiveness of podcast advertising blah blah 😉) but never as overtly as my switch this week to Fuse Energy as a result of their sponsorship of Goalhanger's 'The Rest Is Politics'... and it's a great example of an effective brand and podcast partnerships. The socially conscious TRIP audience is a great fit for Fuse's green energy credentials and that's a strong lesson for such activity: connect audiences with products that could/should care about.
