Since 2012, Reconciliation Australia has conducted the Workplace Reconciliation Barometer (WRB) every two years, surveying employees in organisations with a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). The WRB survey results are compared with responses from the general population drawn from the Australian Reconciliation Barometer (ARB) to give an indication of the impact of RAPs on understanding of First Nations histories and cultures and attitudes towards reconciliation. The 2024 survey results show that RAP employees have higher knowledge of the history of colonial Australia than the general community (70% of RAP employees compared to 60% in the general community), and most believe the Australian people should be educating themselves about First Nations histories and cultures in response to the referendum result (72% compared to 42% in the general community). 📌 Read more about the 2024 Workplace Reconciliation Barometer and the 2024 Australian Reconciliation Barometer (ARB) snapshot series on Young Australians, Multicultural Australians, and Racism and First Nations Peoples: https://xmrrwallet.com/cmx.plnkd.in/gEwK7-aN #Reconciliation #AustralianReconciliationBarometer #BridgingNowtoNext
