Last month we hosted Apex 2025 in Singapore. The annual summit brought together the global XRPL community, including developers, innovators, businesses, and investors from across Asia and beyond for three days of powerful discussions and cutting-edge demos focused on blockchain and the XRP Ledger ecosystem.
The Ripple team did a fantastic job, delivering a forward-looking and energizing three-day event. There were many great sessions but one of my personal highlights was my keynote discussion with Sam Bizri from Zeconomy, which was hosted by Shaurya Malwa from CoinDesk.
In this session, we discussed how Zeconomy is bringing new institutional use cases "on chain", including the first native digital commercial paper on XRPL in the form of Digital Commercial Paper (DCP), which is administered by Guggenheim Treasury Services, one of the largest independent commercial paper platform managers in the world. We also discussed broader tokenization use cases, compliance requirements, and opportunities for developers to get involved.
There can be no doubt that the future of finance is being built around us right now.
