Some roles give you real visibility—and real responsibility. I’m working with a multi-billion dollar hedge fund hiring for a software engineer to sit within a small, high-impact team supporting core operations across treasury, middle office, and fund accounting. You’ll be building production systems that directly enable the firm’s strategies—and learning from stakeholders at the center of the business. What stands out: 🧠 Deep exposure to fund mechanics, from capital flows to P&L tracking 🛠️ Core stack is Python + SQL 🤝 This is a collaborative seat—think close feedback loops, senior mentorship, and direct trader interaction No finance background required. Just strong engineering instincts and the appetite to work in an environment where your code matters. #fintechcareers #softwareengineering #hedgefundhiring #pythonjobs #nytech #princetongroup

This is a hands-on, technical role with direct exposure to structured products, alternative lending, and asset-backed markets. I'm working with a leading alternative investment firm that's hiring a Support Engineer to join their technology team! This role is unique and blends data engineering support, systems troubleshooting, and desktop IT—ideal for someone technical, analytical, and service-oriented. This will be a 50-50 split between SQL-heavy data work and support. You’ll be writing SQL queries, debugging Python and C#, and working with investment data. This is a great way to get your foot in the door with a fantastic firm that is growing. If you’re interested in combining hands-on support with exposure to a high-performance investment environment, let’s connect. rfreedman@theprincetongroup.com

  • Some Princeton Group news 📰 🗞️ from Gregg Anthony, Jim Morris, and Rich Jarett. One of our employees that we have worked with for over 10 years is moving away.   Prathyusha Kurra has been more than just a coworker 🤩 - she's been a true teammate, sounding board, chef and dear friend to all of us. Prat is the glue that keeps us together, from planning team events, building incomparable relationships with our clients, to becoming a close friend to many - she made the hard days easier and the great days even better.  The good news? Prat will still be a part of the Princeton Group family 😍 - just from a little farther away. While we will all miss the in-person moments, we're excited to see how this next chapter unfolds and grateful that our collaboration continues.  Wishing you all the best in your move, Prat. You'll be missing here more than you know - but we're just a Zoom and a short plane ride away.  #princetongroup #teamwork #gratitude #nextchapter

"What skills should I curate as someone that works in financial technology that can make me more money?" In the last 5 years, especially for people in their first or second finance job out of college, that answer has been and will continue to be C#/.NET skills. C# applications will tend to comprise most mission critical systems at many hedge funds and private equity firms. It is also not a skill often taught in school or honed in early stages of career. If you are a C# developer, your ears should be open now more than ever.
