At JDA TSG, we’re a people-centered organization - and that extends to the communities where our people live and work. Our summer interns participated in a volunteer event at Saint Luke's Lutheran Church & Soup Kitchen spending the afternoon preparing and serving meals to New Yorkers experiencing food insecurity. It was a meaningful opportunity to connect with the local community - and a powerful example of how our internship program goes beyond the workplace. St. Luke’s mission to provide hot, nutritious meals in a welcoming and respectful environment aligns closely with our values. Our interns jumped right in, bringing #energy, #empathy, and a team spirit that was deeply appreciated by both the kitchen staff and the guests. Joaquin Lara Azocar's Spanish language skills were especially appreciated in connecting with guests, helping ensure everyone felt seen and supported. Meet JDA TSG Operations Manager, Peter Patten! 👋 Peter is a critical member of our Intuit TurboTax Live team, providing that connection between recruiting, people ops, and client success. Specifically, Peter bridges strategic planning with hands-on support to drive quality and efficiency. When asked what advice Peter has for those starting a new role, he shared the following: "Approach your first few weeks with curiosity and humility—ask thoughtful questions, take good notes, and focus on building relationships. That foundation will pay off long-term."
