Let’s be real, being inclusive isn’t just the right thing to do… it’s also just smart business. 💡 If your space isn’t accessible, you’re missing out on amazing customers, employees, and opportunities. Making your business ADA compliant shows people of all abilities that they’re seen, valued, and welcome. So let’s break it down: Here’s what’s IN and what’s definitely OUT when it comes to building an accessible biz 👇 INs ✅ - Accessible entrances - Websites with alt text and screen reader compatibility - Adjustable-height seating and counters - Disability inclusion training for staff - Welcoming feedback from the disability community OUTs ❌ - One step at the front door - Autoplaying videos with no captions - Cramped spaces that block mobility devices - Bathrooms that aren’t actually accessible - Assuming accessibility = only physical access Inclusion isn’t a trend, it’s a standard. Let’s create spaces where everyone can thrive. 🙌 Comment and let us know some other INs and Outs you can think of! #ADACompliance #AccessibilityForAll #InclusiveBusiness #DisabilityInclusion

Disability Pride Month is in full swing and it's a time to celebrate the strength, talent, and contributions of the disability community. But the impact goes far beyond a single month. At employU, we believe inclusive hiring isn’t just the right thing to do, it’s smart business. When you hire individuals with disabilities, you're investing in resilience, innovation, and untapped potential. Just ask Stephon. Once feeling overlooked, he’s now a confident mentor helping others rise. With the right support and opportunity, he discovered his voice and now uses it to empower others! His story is one of many that remind us: representation matters, inclusion transforms, and everyone deserves the chance to thrive in the workplace. Let’s continue to champion hiring practices that celebrate diverse abilities, not just this month, but every month. Because disability inclusion drives meaningful change for individuals, organizations, and communities. 🌍 #DisabilityPrideMonth #InclusiveHiring #WorkforceInclusion #DisabilityInclusion

I am thrilled to share that employU, the Florida Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, Fevzi Okumus, and I successfully completed the 4th year of our Hospitality Immersion two week Summer Camp program for Central Florida high school students. The joy, happiness, pride, and appreciation radiating during our graduation program were truly uplifting. I hope that our program can play a meaningful role in fostering an inclusive workforce for students with disabilities by focusing on education and empowerment. I would like to express my gratitude to all the organizations and companies that made this possible: Topgolf Orlando, The Ritz-Carlton Orlando & JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes , GODWIN'S GATORLAND, INC, WonderWorks Attraction, Hilton Orlando, Orange County Convention Center, Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Resort, FantasyWorld Resort, Marriott International (Springhill Suites Orlando Airport Property), Entertainment Technology Partners, my esteemed professor friends, the culinary team from University of Central Florida – Rosen College of Hospitality Management, and most importantly, our cherished families. Your support has been invaluable in helping us reach this remarkable milestone! Thank you so much!

Amari’s journey is one of quiet strength and determination. With no prior work experience, she took a leap of faith through an On-the-Job Training at Wards Grocery Store, set up by her Employment Specialist, Tami. Starting as a stocker and cross-training as a cashier, Amari quickly found her stride. With coaching, support, and her own drive to become financially independent, she gained the confidence to turn her OJT into employment. Now officially hired, Amari says she loves working the register and even enjoys chatting with customers. She’s proud to be earning her own paycheck and building a future she’s excited about. #employingabilities #disabilityservices #inclusionworks
