Amari’s journey is one of quiet strength and determination. With no prior work experience, she took a leap of faith through an On-the-Job Training at Wards Grocery Store, set up by her Employment Specialist, Tami. Starting as a stocker and cross-training as a cashier, Amari quickly found her stride. With coaching, support, and her own drive to become financially independent, she gained the confidence to turn her OJT into employment. Now officially hired, Amari says she loves working the register and even enjoys chatting with customers.
