HER3 has become a promising target to treat breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer and other solid tumors. As researchers explore potential new drugs that target HER3, many patients are still in the dark when it comes to understanding the role of specific biomarkers in their cancer. When patients have the tools they need to understand their cancer and treatment options, they feel empowered to self-advocate. We created this animated short in order to break down the science behind HER3’s role in cancer signaling pathways and its ability to override targeted therapies. This video equips patients with easily-digestible information about the role of HER3 in solid tumors and offers insights into potential solutions for treatment-resistant cancers.
