After a 50-year career with Saint Anne’s Hospital, Madeline (Maddy) plans to retire at the end of July. In 1975, while she was raising her four children (each born at Saint Anne’s), she was hired as a part-time secretary, working weekends and holidays. Years later, her daughter, Clara Reagan, RN, joined Saint Anne’s. For 19-and-a-half years, they worked together on the inpatient oncology unit. Clara is now another longtime employee with 38 years of service. And another generation will be celebrating five years of service at Saint Anne’s later this year – Maddy's granddaughter, Catherine “Katie” Reagan, RN. It will be more than a career that Maddy concludes upon her retirement. “I’ll cry my heart out when I leave,” she says. “I will carry the heart of every person I have met at Saint Anne’s Hospital. They are family.” #SaintAnnesHospital #Congratulations #ThankYou
