An important meeting at the Brose Sitech plant in Polkowice! We were visited by Stefan Krug, CEO Brose Group, and Klaus Jungwirth, Executive VP Seat Division Brose Group. It was a great opportunity to talk about the successes which the Brose Sitech Team had achieved in recent months, as well as our strategy. Topics related to the activities building a strong brand as a good employer were also discussed. During the tour of our shop floor, we showed Stefan Krug and Klaus Jungwirth the process of testing new car seats. In addition, the visit included a presentation of the completely rebuilt and modernized Hall IV, both its production and office areas. Both guests emphasized how impressed they were not only by the scope of the changes, but also by the way of their implementation – well thought-out, future-oriented, and cost-effective. The positive atmosphere at the plant particularly stood out, as Klaus Jungwirth noted: “It is obvious how strongly the employees identify with the product and the company. I was amazed by their knowledge and sense of responsibility. The cooperation between the Brose Sitech plants creates valuable synergies and provides a strong basis for an even closer partnership with Brose”. Referring to the company’s strategy, Thomas Spangler, CEO Brose Sitech Group, added that its market presence would be even stronger and more visible in the future. Many thanks to the entire Brose Sitech Team for their daily commitment! Brose Sitech is the leader in the #automotive sector. • 🧐 Most people don’t give much thought to their car seat when they hop in – it just works. But behind those everyday features like seat adjustment are decades of innovation. 💡🕰️ Our family-owned business started working on seat recliners back in the late '60s – under our founder Max Brose. In 1979, we made a big splash in Europe with the first electric multi-way seat adjustment for the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. ⚡💪 Just seven years later, the millionth electric seat adjustment system rolled off the line in Coburg. Innovations like the memory function followed – real milestones not just for us, but for the whole evolution of car interiors. Here’s a look at how we got there. 👀 #Brose #BuildingExcellenceTogehter #throwback #excellenceinside

New perspectives, international exchange, and hands-on insights – our global development programs bring together emerging leaders from around the world.🌍🤝 At the end of June, 15 participants of our European Level 4 program gathered in Ostrava, while the American group met in Spartanburg. The focus was on key leadership topics such as #communication, #conflictmanagement, and #innovation – enriched by inspiring conversations with experienced leaders. Our global Level 3 program is also progressing: the second module took place in mid-July in Shanghai under the motto “Acting for solid results.” In addition to strategy and execution, special attention was given to the Chinese automotive market. 🎯 Our goal: to fill 75% of leadership positions from within our own ranks.🚀 Programs like Level 3 and 4 lay the foundation – through targeted development, a shared leadership mindset, and international networking. #Brose #BuildingExcellenceTogether #LeadershipDevelopment #automotive #HR

Brose Sitech will acquire the German foam manufacturer Proseat, headquartered in Mörfelden. The transfer of ownership is conditional and subject to anti-trust merger approval by the EU Commission as well as several closing conditions. It is a crucial step towards further development and the strengthening of our position in the global #automotive market. “We signed the purchase agreement following approval by the Brose Sitech Supervisory Board and our owners, Brose and Volkswagen. Five production sites in Europe will make us a supplier of all essential components for vehicle seats once the transaction is finalized in the next months,” says Thomas Spangler, CEO of Brose Sitech Group. We anticipate the legal transfer of ownership from the current owner, the Japanese chemical supplier Sekisui Kasei, to be completed by the end of August 2025 once the provisions of the agreement and antitrust law requirements are fulfilled. Proseat was originally founded in 2003 and employs over 1300 people in six locations, three of which are based in Germany and one each in Spain, the Czech Republic and Poland. “We are glad to have found Proseat – an established and competent automotive foam manufacturer. The planned vertical integration will strengthen our presence as a seat system supplier and give our company new possibilities on the automotive market", emphasizes Florian Müller, CFO of Brose Sitech Group. Our thanks go to Vivian Chen, Rafał Królikowski and Dr. Jochen Rahmfeld, who have been driving forward the preparations for the acquisition project in recent months. Brose Sitech is the leader of the #automotive sector, specialising in the production of car seats. Feel free to follow us on LinkedIn. #BroseSitech #automotive #BroseSitechTeam

  • In 1986, our family business decided to expand in the Franconia region. No sooner said than done: we built our first plant outside Coburg in Hallstadt. After the start of construction was delayed due to the economic situation, the plant was completed in May 1990 after a construction period of just ten months and the first window regulators for the Audi 100 rolled off the production line. 🌍📍 The development of the site quickly picked up speed: Just two years after the start of production, the site was expanded to include a high-bay warehouse and an additional assembly hall. After a further expansion in 1999, Hallstadt became the global center for the worldwide activities of our Exterior division and our electronics production. 🦺🏗️ But that's not all: just two kilometers away - in Bamberg - another location was established in 2014. 🤝 The administration building opened in 2016 now houses our central purchasing, pre-development, electronics development and IT functions. At the beginning of this year, we opened the second Brose Kids Club in Germany here. #brose #worldwide #buildingexcellencetogether
