Over 16,000 hand-painted tiles—and still one of the tallest mosaics in the world. Elvis shot scenes from Blue Hawaii here. And if you’re lucky enough to land on a Friday night, they still fire off a full beachside fireworks show. We love surfacing these stories from Atmosfy Creators - shoutout to (@cguzman_visuals) on the the little things that made all the difference: “There’s a staffer who tucks a plumeria under every pillow in room 1421. With two decades at OpenTable, Seth brings unmatched experience, and he’s one of several incredible advisors shaping what we’re building behind the scenes. We asked him 3 questions on his take on the discovery ecosystem. Here's what he said: How are social platforms reshaping the way people find and trust new places to eat? "Social media lets me take a mini food tour before I even leave my couch. Multiple videos = multiple experiences before I walk through the door. I see it, I crave it, I share it, and boom—we’re making a reservation!" How should restaurants think about their digital presence in a video-first world? "I love a mix of ‘shot on an iPhone at 2 a.m.’ and beautifully curated ‘cinematic food porn.’ Real customer stories get me every time. If I can feel the joy in their bite, I’m in. Capture that magic, and you’ve won my heart (and my appetite)." What role do you see user-generated content playing in the future of restaurant marketing? "I post almost nothing but consume way more than I should. My feed is 90% restaurants and hospitality events, and I’m not mad about it. Video content makes the food, the vibe, and the FOMO hit hard.     The most meaningful shift in modern travel isn’t where people are going, it’s how they’re showing up. And lately, we’re seeing something fascinating on Atmosfy: business trips are turning into something way more personal. Leisure-first discovery on Atmosfy is up 42% year-over-year, with dining, hotels, and local experiences leading the surge. Across key urban markets, Atmosfy users are staying 1.7x longer in destination cities compared to last year. We're seeing completely new kind of trip where people are seizing the opportunity to insert joy and make the most of work trips, that might normally have been quick trip to get home as quickly as possible. Travelers are telling us things like, "It's great to not feel like you have to just wait for that 2 week vacation anymore. Work is busy, life is busy, and it feels like carving out that time is always such an undertaking. Work trips are already part of my life and so taking vacations with them actually helps keep me accountable to get some relaxation in my life." I'm excited about the insights we're seeing - that in a hyper-connected world, where it can feel like it takes so much effort both before (and after) to carve out two weeks to be off the grid, that carving out smaller slices of time "more often" to decompress is not only easier to do but also something that work can be a forcing function to do.
