Yesterday we celebrated the ceremonial opening of The Yard Glasgow! Families, funders, and supporters joined us for a special ribbon-cutting with Natalie Don-Innes, Minister for Children, Young People and The Promise. While we’ve been welcoming families throughout the summer, it was wonderful to come together and officially mark this important milestone. From the first idea to yesterday’s ribbon cutting, this project has been a true collaboration. We couldn’t have done it without the generous support of our funders, including The Scottish Government, The Gosling Foundation, Robert Barr Charitable Trust, Children’s Aid, Allied Vehicles Group Charitable Trust, Hugh Fraser Foundation, and Spifox. A special thanks also goes to our brilliant contractors, CCG (Scotland) Ltd, and our project managers, AECOM, for helping bring our vision to life. We had a wonderful day marking this special moment alongside those who made it possible, celebrating the start of an exciting journey as The Yard continues to grow and develop.
