‘We willen de markt uitdagen.’ In 2030 jaar willen wij vrijwel geen dieselmachines meer zien op de bouwplaats. Om deze overgang naar zero emissie bouwmaterieel te versnellen, scherpen we per 15 mei de aanbestedingseisen aan. Bedrijven blijken zich snel en soepel aan te passen aan de eisen die wij stellen. In het begin was de beschikbaarheid van zero emissie-machines vaak een uitdaging, zegt collega Noah Baars. 'Wat wij horen van marktpartijen is dat het probleem minder bij de beschikbaarheid van het materieel ligt.’ Netcongestie is nu een grotere uitdaging, stelt Baars. ‘Al heeft er in Nederland nog geen bouwmachine stil gestaan omdat er geen stroom is. Er is altijd wel een manier om te kunnen laden, maar dat vereist creativiteit en een goede voorbereiding. We willen daarom dat de opdrachtnemer een laadplan opstelt.' Our commitment to invest in the future generation has multiple angles. Of course we are on a mission to reduce CO2 emissions in heavy construction machinery by engineering and building electrical alternatives. With our AS15 #skidsteerloader you can increase workers productivity and get jobs done! Another angle is our collaboration with applied universities (Fontys University of Applied Sciences) and universities (Eindhoven University of Technology) in automotive, mechanical, electrical and software engineering. Through internships and graduation projects we work closely with the next generation of engineers to design and build beautiful products. We are expanding our partnership with the study associations of Electrical Engineering and Automotive Technology (e.t.s.v. Thor) and Mechanical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology (Study Association for Mechanical Engineering Simon Stevin) so students and alumni are introduced with our scale-up business in Brainport Eindhoven.
