What happens when curiosity meets the right environment? Bas explored how temperature affects #LFPcells — and found much more at Cleantron. Meet Bas van Kranenburg, a recent graduate from Energy Masters | Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen, who joined Cleantron for his bachelor thesis — supervised by Thomas Defour. 🔍 His thesis explored the effects of ambient temperature on Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) Cells — identifying the optimal balance between performance and lifespan. 💡 He designed and tested at Cleantron an immersion cooling system to keep cell temperatures stable and reduce thermal gradients — a promising step toward safer, longer-lasting batteries.
