Loro Piana is committed to fostering the next generation of artisans and technicians, opening doors and empowering future talent. In tandem with ten vocational institutes within its artisanal districts, the Maison is transmitting its unique technical expertise to younger generations through two programs: Métiers d’Excellence LVMH Excellent! and Adotta una Scuola. The first initiative provides valuable orientation, welcoming students to experience the House’s workshops and meet its artisans. The second –realised in partnership with Altagamma, along with three schools that include IPIA Magni and ITIS Sella of Biella – provides crucial support and resources to these important sites of learning and crafting. #LoroPiana

Last month, a group of colleagues from our Valsesia premises participated in the Dolomiti Extreme Trail, following a demanding route through pristine forests, rocky terrain, and steep mountain slopes. The participants bonded over shared challenges as they jointly crossed the finishing line – with the same determination and relentless dedication that drives the Loro Piana teams every day. An important collaborative project, the trail brought together individuals from different functions through training, commitment, and the desire to share a meaningful experience. #LoroPiana

Unfolding a new chapter of the Maison’s chronicles, a unique story of craft and excellence. In 1980, Sergio and Pier Luigi Loro Piana took the reins of their father’s business, guiding the Maison into a new era of excellence. Where Sergio Loro Piana emerged as a true visionary of style – with a passion for the minutest details of each garment –, Pier Luigi Loro Piana travelled the globe in search of the most precious raw materials, most notably Baby Cashmere and The Gift of Kings® wool, today synonymous with Loro Piana. Together, the two brothers honoured their family’s heritage while solidifying the legacy of a now-iconic Maison. #LoroPiana

This year's Knit Design Award winners Morgan Boyce and Simone Rizzato from Accademia Costume & Moda were invited to realise their project in tandem with Loro Piana's R&D Yarns Lab and Knitwear teams. This year, Loro Piana once again returns to the Giraglia Regatta as Title Sponsor, marking a continued chapter in the House’s rich sailing history. A voyage of 241 nautical miles, the regatta is one of the most important events in top-level Mediterranean sailing. Starting in Saint-Tropez and moving to Genoa via the Giraglia rock in Northern Corsica, it taps into the Maison’s unique savoir-vivre – representing a significant moment that echoes the core Loro Piana values of tradition, fair play, and ultimate performance. #LoroPiana

Fusing textile heritage with forward-looking technology, the Loro Piana Smart Bales offer unique insights into the journey of the Maison’s iconic cashmere. From plains of Mongolia to the House’s atelier in Italy, the project digitises signature steps of the local supply chain and brings an unprecedented view to Loro Piana’s cashmere sourcing. This week, the initiative is displayed at VivaTech, Europe’s foremost technology conference, taking place annually in Paris. It is enabled through a bespoke table co-designed with multidisciplinary studio MACHINEZERO – blending craftsmanship and innovation to create an immersive experience. #LoroPiana

A sensorial experience melding flora, art, and clothes. In a showcase of its distinct savoir-vivre, Loro Piana once again takes over Il Fioraio, a flower kiosk in the heart of the Tuscan summer destination Forte dei Marmi. Alongside seasonal highlights and an array of vibrant blooms, the Mediterranean-inspired space displays a selection of vases and centrepieces hand-crafted by French artist and ceramist Karim Rahman. #LoroPiana

Honouring an incessant dedication to ultimate excellence in Merino fibres. The Loro Piana Record Bale Award rewards two farms – one in Australia and one in New Zealand – that successfully produce the finest bale of Merino wool, with special credits going to the Australian farm Pyrenees Park, which produced a Merino fibre of a mere 10.5 microns. Taking place at the San Francisco City Hall on 28th May, the award ceremony is hosted by Loro Piana CEO Damien Bertrand and Pier Luigi Loro Piana, Deputy Chairman of the Maison, and a pioneer and supporter of the ongoing quest for the finest Merino wool. With finesses that vary infinitesimally, the extraordinary results achieved by the breeders reflect their unwavering commitment to producing ever-finer and better-performing wool. #LoroPiana
