When the Trail Ends, the Story Begins Last week, part of the Salomon Para-Team took on the Défi de la Muzelle—a unique 4-stage trail running challenge in the heart of Les 2 Alpes. Athletes Eva Cajan, Fayçal Toumi, and Julien Veysseyre embraced the terrain, the altitude, and the spirit of inclusion. The team hosted a special screening of this powerful film, which follows five amputees on their journey to conquer a 3000m summit in the Alps—followed by a moving Q&A session with the audience. Although Luca Liens had to withdraw from the race due to inflammation, his presence at the screening in his hometown cinema brought together a large and supportive crowd—proof that impact goes far beyond the trails. Watch a glimpse of this inspiring week. Video - Pierre Gouineau #Salomon #TrailRunning

Inside the Lab: Road Runners Take the Stage A few weeks ago, we welcomed our road running athletes to the Salomon Design Center in Annecy for a new round of testing — part of their dedicated Road Running Camp, led by Aitor Viribay, Running Athletes Performance Manager. It was a unique opportunity to explore how their bodies respond to effort. A V02 max test isn’t really a test – there’s no pass or fail mark, it’s simply knowledge. At road camp, the team took to the treadmill, not with the goal to assess their fitness, but to dial in their training zones and identify where they could become more efficient. They walked away with plenty of data and perhaps, just as importantly, a new-found belief that when they’re on their limit, they’ve still got more to give. Let’s take a closer look at how it went for 2:27 marathoner Maggie Montoya. Video by Oliver Grenaa for Harper Nielsen Photo by Alice Alphrey G. for Harper Nielsen #Salomon #RoadRunning

Four Legs, One Spirit: Preparing for Ultra Spirit with François D’Haene Les Quatre Pattes (“The Four Legs”)—a name that says it all: three teammates, four legs, and one incredible spirit. Julien Veysseyre, Aurélien Guého, and Romane have come together to form this year’s Salomon & i-Run Parateam for Ultra Spirit 2025. Their journey began with a trail recon in the breathtaking Beaufortain mountains, guided by none other than ultra-running legend François D’Haene. Since 2022, Salomon has partnered with Ultra Spirit, a low-impact ultra-trail event created by François and his wife, Carline. More than a race, it’s a celebration of nature, teamwork, and the human spirit. Watch the video to follow 'Les Quatre Pattes' as they prepare for the challenge ahead. #Salomon #iRun #TrailRunning

Echoes of the Deep: XT-Whisper Void Ama After months of creative exchange through Salomon’s energy program, our collaboration with British singer-songwriter Ama Lou comes to life in a dedicated campaign and product: the XT-Whisper Void Ama. Inspired by the strength of Japanese Ama divers — women who dive unaided to harvest pearls — this silhouette blends Salomon’s trail legacy with Ama’s artistic voice. A celebration of courage, resilience, and grace under pressure. Director — Jackson Forsythe Photographer — Zach Apo Tsang Styling — Charlotte Roberts Agency & Production — JOOK! Tracing his own line through the San Juan mountains, Mathieu Blanchard added a thread to the rich tapestry of the Hardrock 100. A thread forged with strength, resolve, and Mathieu’s characteristic curiosity, not just to push himself, but to learn about the landscape he’s traversing, and the limits of his mind. "When we start to understand that the body can do that, we feel safe and that's when we can be confident." Some journeys begin with pain — and transform into purpose. Ten years ago, Eva Cajan lost her right leg in an accident. Her first steps back into running were filled with pain and doubt. But she kept going. Years later, becoming a mother reignited her desire to move, to reconnect with nature, and to share those moments with her daughter. A lifelong lover of the outdoors, Eva now runs not just for herself, but to pass on that same passion to her daughter. Her journey is a testament to the power of sport to rebuild confidence and redefine possibility. This week, Eva will be racing the Défis de la Muzelle — alongside the Salomon Para-Team, which she recently joined. Each trail with the Para-Team turns challenge into momentum. What happens when a pair of our shoes makes its way to our community? We find out—directly from them. At the heart of our product development is a simple but powerful goal: create gear that truly satisfies our customers. One of the best ways to achieve that? Ask them. That’s why we sent the Ultra Glide 3 to 150 lucky testers and invited them to put the shoes through their paces over three weeks—sharing feedback at every step of the journey. That was the data-gathering part. But this year, we wanted to go further. We gave them the chance to share their experience on camera. Check out this video compilation of real moments, real runs, and real reactions from our amazing community. A huge thank you to everyone who took part in the test and shared their footage. You made this possible. Video – Erwan Lier #Salomon
