Gender diversity in Belgian private equity & venture capital – where do we stand in 2025? Together with Private Capital Belgium, PwC Belgium analysed 108 PE & VC firms. The results show progress—but also persistent gaps: ➡️ 27% of investment professionals are women (up from 20% in 2023)  ➡️ Only 15% of senior roles are held by women  ➡️ 19% of firms still have all-male investment teams While PE firms are improving, senior leadership remains male-dominated—especially in smaller firms. Our annual Global Entertainment & Media Outlook is out! Delve into the industry’s dynamic evolution, projecting it to reach US$3.5 trillion by 2029, with a compound annual growth rate of 3.7%. Belgium’s E&M Industry is forecast to hit EUR 17.2 billion by 2029, at a CAGR of 1.91%. These are the key findings:   ✅Advertising revenue will increasingly outpace consumer spending. In Belgium, growth is estimated to increase by 7.3% CAGR between 2024 and 2029.   ✅ AI is revolutionising content creation, production processes and advertising precision, offering new opportunities while posing challenges related to regulatory compliance and risk management.  ✅ Belgium’s videogames and esports revenue is expected to exceed EUR 1 billion in 2029. Last week, we concluded a three-day Agentic AI camp at PwC Belgium Brussels Campus for young people aged 14–18. Participants explored emerging technologies including Microsoft, OpenAI, Salesforce and our own Agent OS, while also reflecting on the ethics of AI — inspiring the next generation to think critically about the role of technology in society.
