Job Description

As the Cabin Crew Base Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Brisbane Cabin Crew base, overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring alignment with safety, service, and performance standards. Managing a team of Crew Leadership Managers and Crew Experience Managers, the role supports approximately 600–700 crew members across International and Domestic. This position plays a key role in driving crew engagement, operational excellence, and customer experience outcomes. You will work closely with airport teams and other stakeholders to deliver seamless operations, manage local budgets, and implement business plans that support transformation and cost initiatives. The role also involves active engagement with unions, regulatory agencies, and third-party partners to ensure compliance and foster a culture of safety and service.

You’ll Have

  • Extensive people leadership experience
  • A strong track record in managing large, customer-focused teams in a 24/7 environment
  • Experience designing and implementing commercial operations and business strategies
  • A deep understanding of industrial relations, including working with unions and regulatory bodies
  • Proven capability in people management, change leadership, and commercial negotiations
  • Sound business acumen with a strategic mindset and a focus on delivering results
  • The ability to lead, influence, and inspire high-performing teams, preferably within an operational environment
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence engaging all levels and stakeholders
  • A commitment to fostering a culture of safety, service excellence, and continuous improvement
