A very special feature of #FCIF are the Taste of Innovation dinners. Attendees have the option to purchase separate tickets to this series of exclusive dinners celebrating some of NYC’s most innovative restaurants—featuring inspired menus, intimate conversations, and the creative spirit of the city’s top culinary minds. Today, we're highlighting Brooklyn's popular Persian restaurant Sofreh Cafe. On Monday, September 15th at 6pm, join James Beard Award nominee chef Nasim Alikhani at her warm and welcoming cafe for an evening filled with delicious traditional Persian dishes and spreads, signature cocktails, and a conversation on the importance of placing culture at the core of her business. From the café’s architecture and cozy aesthetic to taking inspiration from Persian homes and the meaning of the restaurant’s name itself—Sofreh has come to refer to "gathering" and "sharing"—hear how Alikhani has infused her heritage into every aspect of her restaurant, and why she believes this approach will continue to feed the business's bottom line. The Fast Company Innovation Festival is hands down my favorite live journalism event of the year. It's a must attend for any PR pro that works with Fast Co - you learn so much about how they report on brands/innovation and can connect with the editorial team on-site at the opening night party. Bonus, that the Festival is full of amazing interactive sessions. For example, I attended a Fast Track (the sessions brand's host across NYC) at Barry's where we took a complementary class - previewing a new bike format - followed by a Q&A with their head of curriculum and business development. This year I'm attending as press along with Meredith Klein (she/her) of Meredith & The Media. Watch out for Meredith's coverage as well as my Ragan Communications and PR Daily Media Coffee Chat Q&As with editors at both Fast Co and sister publication Inc. Magazine. This year's festival runs from September 15-18. Use our discount code to get access to General Access, All-Access, and Priority All-Access passes: https://xmrrwallet.com/cmx.plnkd.in/ezhsC2Ms This exclusive discount is on top of Fast Co's discount they're running through August 15.

It is a true honor to be featured in Fast Company magazine’s article online and to be featured in the upcoming print edition along with Sharon Prince for our work at Grace Farms Foundation and Grace Farms Tea & Coffee. It’s been an incredible adventure this far with so much more brewing. Our tea and coffee story really began moving with our first tea bar at Fast Company Events #fcif2023 and most recently the Fast Company Impact Council annual meeting! A huge thanks to my friends and partners at Fast Company including Kristin Mooney, Brendan Vaughan, Kathryn Mainello, Morgan Brady, and the team at Grace Farms Tea & Coffee making it happen. Cheers! #gracefarms https://xmrrwallet.com/cmx.plnkd.in/gYzmukBG

The Fast Company Innovation Festival takes over NYC again this September—and it’s one of the most energizing events of the year. It’s a beast of an event (a fun beast!), and there’s truly something for everyone. Whether you're an executive of a global brand, a startup founder, or just someone who loves learning new things, the Festival is a real choose-your-own-adventure. You’ll have the chance to learn from today’s brightest leaders, most innovative companies, and experience Manhattan’s coolest spaces and restaurants. Here are a few things I’m especially looking forward to at this year’s #FCFestival: ✨ A private, members-only dinner for our Fast Company Impact Council in partnership with Maven AGI 💄 A main stage session with SEPHORA President and CEO, Artemis Patrick ♠️ A main stage session with the *iconic* Norma Kamali 🍷 Taste of Innovation dinners at Manhatta (Union Square Hospitality Group), Metropolis (Marcus Samuelsson at Perelman Performing Arts Center (PAC NYC)), and Bazaar (Jose Andres Group) 🚀 Fast Track sessions—behind-the-scenes access to NYC’s most innovative companies—at The Malin, Happy Medium, and Dagne Dover. Brendan Vaughan, Kc Ifeanyi, Rebecca Barker, April Mokwa, our MV Live team (and so many more!) have put together a jam-packed, four-day program for the most curious and creative minds. Will you join us? Drop me a comment if you're planning to be there or interested in attending!
