Alignment. Clarity. Tradeoffs. Dependencies. Who’s doing what? When? What does it cost? How will you measure it? 🤔 Simple questions when running a startup — but not easy to answer. Especially for founders, who face plenty of things they can’t control: markets, regulation, macro noise. What can you control? Execution. 💪 That’s where operating plans come in — they turn your big vision into a concrete, accountable roadmap. 🗺️ In this post, I share: - Four pillars of a good operating plan - Common mistakes to avoid - Practical budgeting tips (yes, including zero-based budgeting) - How to match your plan to your company’s current mode Creating a plan doesn’t have to mean drowning in paperwork or meetings. But you do need one. And you do need a handle on your runway. 👇 Read it here: https://xmrrwallet.com/cmx.plnkd.in/gHeDV48f Happy planning! 😁

Today we're talking about the passage of the GENIUS Act — that's the "Guiding and Establishing National Innovation for US Stablecoins Act" — which provides clear rules of the road for stablecoins in the U.S. We cover the law's implications, the recent high-stakes vote in the House of Representatives, and the bipartisan efforts to pass this groundbreaking bill. We also touch on the CLARITY Act — a major new “market structure” bill that would establish a clear regulatory framework for digital asset markets — which the House also passed with bipartisan support and which is now headed to the Senate. Here to separate the signal from the noise are members of the a16z crypto team who had a front-row seat to the action. We've got Miles Jennings, a16z crypto's General Counsel and Head of Policy, plus a16z Government Affairs Partners Ben Napier and Michael Reed, who are responsible for liaising with House Republicans and House Democrats, respectively. They share the inside scoop. https://xmrrwallet.com/cmx.plnkd.in/dAJfJSat

Can cryptography solve the problem of MEV? One approach is an encrypted mempool, where users broadcast encrypted transactions that are only revealed after they are sequenced. Hence, a consensus protocol would have to commit to a transaction ordering blindly, seemingly preventing the ability to take advantage of MEV opportunities during the ordering process. Unfortunately, for both practical and theoretical reasons, we don’t see encrypted mempools providing a universal solution to MEV. We outline the difficulties and explore how encrypted mempools might be designed: https://xmrrwallet.com/cmx.plnkd.in/gWhB-ZYN By Pranav Garimidi, Joseph Bonneau & Lioba H.

Attackers can use data stolen in breaches — your name, email and physical addresses, phone numbers, government-issued ID, Social Security Number, bank account information, and more — to steal even more sensitive things from you: your identity, online accounts, money, and more. Every piece of information attackers glean makes it easier for and likelier that they will acquire more, usually through targeted phishing attacks. If you suspect or know that your personal information has been compromised, take steps to protect yourself. Better yet, get ahead of the next breach by taking these actions now. Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to respond to — and proactively defend against — the fallout from data breaches, both immediately and long term. ➡️ https://xmrrwallet.com/cmx.plnkd.in/geiSDc5z
