Thales Signs Five-Year Deal To Extend Stay At Teesside Airport
A safety critical flight inspection company which has served the UK military for almost thirty years has signed a new lease to cement its place at Teesside Airport.
Thales has signed a five-year agreement with the airport as part of a deal which also includes improvements to its home hangar.
Steel In The Ground As Huge 50ft High Twin-Bay Hangar Takes Shape For Willis Expansion
Progress is roaring ahead on creating a huge new twin-bay hangar for a growing international aviation company at Teesside Airport.
The 50ft-high facility, built by Willis Aviation Services Limited, is taking shape on the airport’s north side to cater for the company’s growing operations.
Packed Malaga Flight Jets Off From Teesside For First Time In 16 Years
Holidaymakers have packed out Teesside Airport’s first flight to Malaga in 16 years.
The first Ryanair flight to the Costa del Sol took off from Teesside on Monday morning (31 March) for the first time since 2009.
Passengers were joined by Tees Valley Mayor Ben Houchen as he travels to Spain to speak to tourism leaders in Andalusia about future developments for the airport and the wider Tees Valley region.
Agreement Reached To Unlock Huge Funding Injection To Boost More Jobs And Growth At Airport
A huge injection of private sector investment into Teesside International Airport has been successfully unlocked.
Agreements with three pivotal airport tenants to expand their growing operations at Teesside are forecast to help create 250 new jobs and unlock £16million of private sector spending – with the potential for more to come.
European Airline Giant Lufthansa Sees Newly Painted Plane Roll Out Of Teesside
Europe’s largest airline Lufthansa has seen another of its planes painted at Teesside Airport.
Expanding aircraft painting firm Airbourne Colours – which secured its Teesside base last year – completed the aircraft this week before it rolled out of its facility on Wednesday morning (5 March).
