Shiva is the God of destruction in humans. Shiva holds one of the most prominent roles in Hinduism as (the Destroyer) within the Trimurti (the Hindu trinity). He is one of the three most important Gods, alongside Brahma (the Creator) and Vishnu (the Preserver).

Perses was the Titan God of destruction in Greek mythology, and Oizys the Goddess of misery, anxiety, grief, depression, and misfortune. Her Roman name is Miseria, from which the English word misery is derived.

The “Endless” are American comic books by Neil Richard Gaiman, an English author, published by DC Comics, about a somewhat dysfunctional family of seven siblings who each represent an aspect of life: Dream; Death; Destiny; Despair; Desire; Delirium, and Destruction.

Emotional distress refers to mental suffering as an emotional response to an experience that arises from the effect or memory of, a particular event; an occurrence; a pattern of events, or persistent condition.

Controlling the destruction of something gives a sense of power and can also give rise to other feelings such as awe.

Feeling in control is a basic human need. Theory posits that deliberately destroying things is incredibly satisfying because it makes one feel powerful.

As such, self-destructive behavior can stem from mental health conditions, as anxiety disorders: Characterized by debilitating fears; worry; distress; depression; overwhelming sadness; or loss of hope, in other words hopelessness, which, usually involves a variety of physical symptoms.

Destroying property as a way of coping or the release of tension that brings some to acts of aggression when mad is thought to be stress-relieving. Yelling; screaming; slamming; throwing and burning things, are all considered to have the same venting effect.

Upon destruction, one of the main sources of regret or remorse is the fact that one led oneself to its own destruction.

Intense negative emotions such as guilt; shame; and hopelessness pursue, becoming a generalized experience of unbearable mental pain, especially when meta-analyses have demonstrated an association between Emotional Intelligence (EI) and different health indicators showing traumatic grief (a feeling of intense remorse); or guilt afterwards, lead to suicide.

Feeling hopeless can often cause a sense of surrender and thinking about suicide, while, it isn’t a simple cause and effect, it is something to be wary of, thus, actively and appropriately responding to…
