The White House AI Action Plan reinforces what we’ve known: the real challenge isn’t just AI capability, it's secure adoption.  Real transformation happens when the best tools meet people, agencies, and infrastructure where they actually are. Windsurf is already doing this in the private sector. But public sector modernization is where the impact will matter most and where momentum has lagged for years. 70% of federal IT spend still goes to Ops and Maintenance of old systems. That has hardly changed in a decade. That’s why we didn’t wait. In 2024, we began building a FedRAMP®, ITAR, and DoD IL5 compliant Windsurf, to bring secure AI to longstanding software challenges and help win the AI race against modern threats. There is still plenty of work to be done, but the pathway is clear. We’re bringing Windsurf into the hands of every federal developer: https://xmrrwallet.com/cmx.plnkd.in/dWTmNcqa.

That 70% maintenance cost is a silent drag on any nation's productivity. Solving this unlocks enormous economic potential, far beyond just IT budgets. 🙌

That 70% maintenance cost is a huge issue! It’s wild how much potential is locked away in outdated systems. Modernizing the public sector could really unleash some serious productivity gains. Excited to see how Windsurf tackles these challenges head-on.
