☕ AI can whip up code faster than you can brew coffee, but it’s often like a smoothie with random ingredients. MIT researchers point out that AI‑generated code can look legit while calling functions that don’t exist or breaking your internal conventions. And because machines don’t understand your business goals, only humans can ensure code aligns with the bigger picture. So, before you blindly copy and paste, learn the fundamentals. It’s the human insight, reading, refactoring and testing code, that makes AI a co‑pilot, not your autopilot. W3Schools is here to help you build that foundation. Yup, AI-generated code often leaves a lot to be desired. Iterate, iterate, iterate; read, understand, and test! By the end, would it have been quicker to code it yourself? Maybe... That said, AI can introduce you to new techniques and remind you of methods you'd forgotten existed. It's a valuable tool, but you still have to put in some work. I love W3Schools, and I religiously use the Color Picker Tool. :)
Me encanta
Thank you very much for sharing.
I use W3Schools.com in my classroom every day. Best tool out there to help my students understand AI spaghetti code and fix it! Now if only I could figure out a way to disable copy and paste… 🤔
