ThinkingData’s Post

The ThinkingData China team is gearing up for one of our ThinkingData Summits (TDS) this July 9th in Guangzhou, and as they prepare for this year’s event, we wanted to share some of last year's highlights. Our lineup of speakers included: Takuro Mizobe (CEO, Pocketpair, Inc.) revealed how Palworld’s breakout success came from resisting trends and prioritizing long-term player satisfaction. Kei Hirono (Producer, FF Brave Exvius, Square Enix) emphasized the need for LiveOps to move in sync with rapidly shifting player behavior and platform expectations. Lu Huibo (Senior Analyst, Gamma Data) outlined the game genres poised for growth in 2024—predictions that proved surprisingly accurate. Lemon Choi (CEO, Hyperjoy Game) spoke on the strategic value of competitive intelligence and market positioning for scaling studios. As a pioneer in global game data infrastructure, we host regional game data conferences every year to explore how data is shaping the future of the games industry. In 2024, we were proud to welcome over 35 senior executives from leading game companies across Asia. At its core, TDSs are about more than just data; it’s about building a space for meaningful conversations, strategic insights, and the future of games. We’re proud to host conferences of this scale and can’t wait to welcome incredible speakers and guests this year in China, Japan, Korea, and next year in the US 📍 Looking forward to the highlights of TDS 2025 in Guangzhou!
