Six months, 19 countries, countless lessons in leadership. 💫 Recently, I wrapped up a six-month interim role leading our Salesforce EMEA Equality team in London. As I transition back home to Brooklyn, and to our incredible Executive Recruiting team, I’ve been reflecting on the incredible experience this was and the people I had the privilege to lead and partner with. To my brilliant colleagues across the region (especially my amazing team Mira Pitkin, Richard Phillip, & Tash Crook), and to our internal and external partners who showed up with dedication, heart, and purpose: thank you. Together, we built momentum, strengthened connections, and shaped a shared vision for what leadership rooted in Equality can achieve. Over these past months, I had the opportunity to: ✅ Lead the creation of our strategy for the fiscal year, establishing clear priorities and direction for our Equality work across EMEA. ✅ Build strong partnerships internally and externally, fostering collaboration and driving sustainable impact. ✅ Collaborate with leaders across multiple functions, gaining deeper perspective on what it truly takes to lead a global business. Through this work, I’ve taken away lessons that will continue to shape how I lead moving forward: ✨ Context is everything. Leading across 19 countries requires understanding culture, history, compliance frameworks, and policy nuances. Meaningful impact in a region this diverse starts with navigating those complexities with intention. ✨ Complexity builds perspective. From AI regulation to evolving legislation and market dynamics, leadership in EMEA requires agility, curiosity, and the ability to guide teams in fast-changing environments. ✨ Global business leadership is multi-layered. This experience gave me deeper appreciation for the strategy, foresight, and adaptability our Sales leaders and executives demonstrate every day to deliver results on a global scale. This role stretched me, challenged me, and expanded my perspective on leadership. I am deeply grateful for every conversation, every collaboration, and every opportunity to listen, learn, and build together. I’d love to hear from others who’ve led across regions: what lessons have stayed with you about leading globally? #Leadership #CoreValues #GlobalLeadership #WomenWhoLead #CareerTransitions #BoldLeadership #IntentionalLeadership #ProfessionalDevelopment #PersonalDevelopment #GlobalPerspective
