This week the New York Angels Member Engagement team hosted a 2-hour session on How to Lead a Deal. This was one of the most requested sessions by NYA Members, and we had 38 attendees. In light of Father's Day, we also invited the adult children of our two presenters to join us and see their dads in action! Steve Kapner and Tom Hirschfeld discussed the deal lead process from prep for Discovery through signing definitive documents. They also addressed key topics such as how to run an effective and efficient diligence process, gauging member interest, and best practices in leveraging the various categories of interest on GUST including the recently introduced “Soft Circle”.
