𝐔𝐒𝐂𝐆 𝐂𝐲𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐮𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞! The Coast Guard’s new cyber requirements under MTSA are in effect, and the countdown to the next milestones has already begun. What is now on every owner and operator’s radar? • 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: Effective immediately, all cyber events that meet USCG criteria must be phoned in to the National Response Center. • 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠: Completion deadline is 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟏𝟐, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 - that’s 18 months to build, deliver, and document a cyber curriculum • 𝐅𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝-𝐨𝐮𝐭: By 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟏𝟔 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕 you must name a Cybersecurity Officer, run a formal Cybersecurity Assessment, and file a Cybersecurity Plan for approval. OneZero designed 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐂𝐲𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟑𝟔𝟎 to help you clear each hurdle on time: • Incident-reporting playbooks and 24 × 7 support that keep you compliant from day one • Role-based training modules ready to deploy across shoreside and vessel crews • Turnkey Cybersecurity Assessment and Plan development aligned with 33 CFR 104/106, NIST CSF 2.0, and IMO guidance • Continuous monitoring and quarterly tabletop exercises that demonstrate ongoing due diligence 𝟑𝟎-𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲: In one call we apply a five-question checklist to surface your top three compliance gaps and map out a path to fix them.
