As my summer internship in the Total Loss department at State Farm in Dunwoody, GA comes to an end, I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to learn, grow, and connect. Over the past few months, I’ve gained hands-on experience working through title issues and title notifications, and had the privilege of learning from an amazing team of managers, LDFs, and peer resources who supported us every step of the way. One of the highlights of my internship was participating in various volunteer experiences—those moments reminded me of the importance of giving back, even in a corporate setting. The relationships I’ve built and the lessons I’ve learned have truly shaped my understanding of corporate America and further confirmed my passion for pursuing a career in law. As someone preparing for law school, learning the ins and outs of total loss claims—especially around ownership rights and legal documentation—was especially meaningful. This internship gave me a front-row seat to the real-world legal complexities behind property and insurance claims, and affirmed my passion for pursuing a career in law. Thank you, State Farm, for an unforgettable summer! #statefarm #internship
