This photo is from my naturalization ceremony about 5 years ago. On Independence Day, I can't help but reflect on what freedom truly means. Freedom to pursue a career in tech without limitations. Freedom to switch jobs, start companies, and take risks. Freedom to speak up in meetings, challenge ideas, and innovate without fear. These aren't abstract concepts, they're daily realities I never take for granted. I'm thankful for this country that welcomed me and gave me opportunities to grow. Thankful for the tech community here. Thankful for colleagues who became champions. Most of all, I'm thankful for the freedom to build. Not just software and systems, but a life of purpose and possibility. Thank you. Happy Independence Day! May we never forget how precious these freedoms are.
