1 in 5 U.S. adults (and counting) are turning to off-the-shelf AI chatbots for help with their healthcare — to research symptoms and treatments, vet providers, and determine if they actually need to go to the doctor or urgent care. This trend highlights AI’s enormous potential as an engagement tool, but it also suggests that people are defaulting to AI because the healthcare system is too difficult and frustrating to navigate. People need more than generic responses. The answers they need — from a chatbot and/or a human — must be personalized, connected to their individual medical history (securely and privately), and informed by their unique health benefits. As Included Health's CEO Owen Tripp explains on The Health Care Blog, this is one of the biggest areas of opportunity in healthcare AI right now: https://xmrrwallet.com/cmx.pbit.ly/4m7lW9W #DigitalHealth #PatientExperience #IncludedHealth #HealthcareInnovation #HealthcareAI #HealthcareNavigation
