The next era of HR? Fewer blockers. More builders. At our latest Meeting of the Minds, we gathered HR leaders to look ahead and discuss not just what’s changing, but what’s fundamentally shifting. By 2030, the structure and purpose of HR will look very different. Attendees focused on the roles HR is uniquely positioned to lead as the world of work changes. Fewer one-size-fits-all forecasts and more bold, honest conversations leading to big ideas that matter. Here’s what stood out: 💡 AI is already reshaping HR roles ➡️ The HR teams of the future will be lean, strategic, and tech-augmented. They will be built to guide talent through change, not just track it. 💡 HR will need business vision, not just business acumen ➡️ The next evolution of business acumen is influence: HR will be expected to design orgs, develop leaders, and drive growth through talent. 💡 Wisdom becomes the new core competency ➡️ With process handled by AI, the uniquely human work rises in value: sensemaking, culture shaping, and leadership through complexity. 💡 New HR talent may not come from HR at all ➡️ More will rotate in from ops, product, or finance, bringing a fresh lens on how to grow people in ways that grow the business. Let’s keep the conversation going and keep building for what comes next. Thanks to the incredible HR leaders who joined us at Guild HQ! Your insights are shaping the future of Guild Academy and the future of work: Marissa Andrada, Brad Bell, Kevin Delaney, Cameron Hedrick, Elizabeth Wilson King, Kevin Oakes, Tamla Oates-Forney, Betsy Rodriguez, PhD, Stephen Wroblewski #FutureOfWork #HRLeadership #GuildAcademy #AI
