Please be aware!! There are scammers trying to access your personal financial information by posing as a potential employer or staffing agency. You may receive a text as well as an email referring to a specific position and title similar to one you may have legitimately applied to. Any requests for financial information, birth dates, or asking you to fill out a credit check are illegitimate. NEVER fill out a credit check or pay money to any entity that says it is a part of the hiring process. They are trying to steal your information. We do know of two sites specifically, plhiring. com and clickfreescore. com, these are scam sites that do not represent real firms and the latter is used to steal your credit information. There are other sites as well. Always, check the email address to make sure it matches, and if you aren’t sure, reach out directly to the company that is supposedly being represented by going directly to their website or LinkedIn to contact them.
Constantly getting them as if things aren’t bad enough. A senior talent EA from London with amazing skills and have to deal with this absolute nonsense.
I've received several too. Even a scam interview. Thank goodness I checked the webserver's domain and nothing came up.

10moI have been getting more scams than actual real jobs. A lot coming from fake LinkedIn pages created. I really hate it when they cannot pronounce my name or I get several calls/text from different scammers all for the same position that doesn’t exist anymore but they haven’t upgraded their information. Smh.
