To round out our #CollectiveImpact check presentations for the year, we wanted to highlight our visit to the Common Ground Grief Center! The Common Ground Grief Center provides peer support groups for children ages 6-18 as well as young adult support groups for ages 19-30 for those who have experienced the death of a loved one. When experiencing loss it's important to have a safe and caring environment, and being in the presence of others who have experienced similar losses can help an individual feel less alone in their grief, and in turn, fosters the healing process.
