“The visit by Amoria Bond is a real highlight … our refuge will remember you all for many, many years.”   🔗 https://xmrrwallet.com/cmx.plnkd.in/e4WEJ_Rn   Last month 10 of our amazing volunteers travelled to Las Laderas, Peru, to live within the community and build houses for families with nowhere to live.    By the end of the week, two houses and a soup kitchen had been built, with 18 more homes underway, paid for by our fundraising activities, led by local workers and supervised by our partner Project Peru. These homes offer shelter, safety, and improved living conditions, helping families escape the daily reality of extreme poverty. 🏠    As one of the poorest areas in the world, where only 2 in 10 families have proper housing and just 2 in 5 have adequate access to clean water, projects like this make a huge difference:    “A huge and heartfelt thank you for your fantastic building skills, your agility in carting everything up the steep shanty town hills and your enthusiasm for entertaining all the children in our refuge; they were jumping for joy to welcome you all and to entertain you too!    “The visit by Amoria Bond is a real highlight … our refuge will remember you all for many, many years.
