Jensen Huang: From Denny's dishwasher to NVIDIA CEO

My job at Denny's, you know, I was incredibly shy and I got me to, to, to be able to interact with people a lot better. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Wong is number one on Fortune's Most powerful People in Business list, and he's worth $157 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. But his journey to success started with humble beginnings. Long was born in Taiwan and later moved to Washington state when he was 9. His first job was as a dishwasher at Denny's, where he was later promoted to busboy and waiter. He attended Oregon State University prior to receiving a masters degree from Stanford University. He dreamt up NVIDIA in a Denny's booth with his two cofounders, Chris Malachowsky and Curtis Priem, in 1993. Today, the company has a market cap of $4.3 trillion. After decades of naysayers dismissing the value of Huang specialized computer chips, that hardware is now the most coveted by companies in developing artificial intelligence. That's why NVIDIA is the most valuable company traded on US exchanges today.
