VP of Engineering Operations

Aquinas Consulting has partnered with a key client in the Aerospace and Industrial Component Manufacturing Industry, who is looking for a Senior Executive to join their team. This position will report to the CEO and would be responsible for several operating divisions with total annual sales of $500M+.

This is an on-site role, located in Connecticut.

In this role, you would manage, direct and retain primary responsibility for the operating performance of several operating divisions. The ability to identify as well as prioritize strategic goals coupled with the leadership to convert them into successful actionable plans is the essence of this position.

Some of the key roles and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Managing the financial performance of the operating entities; (In this regard the ability to project revenues and costs for 12 months in the future and execute accordingly a large component of job content)
• Continuous development and training of strong entrepreneurial business teams;
• Lead improvements in manufacturing execution and champion supporting programs including extensive personnel development;
• Create, communicate and implement the organization’s long-term vision, mission and strategic goals, revise annually
• Lead organic growth initiatives, including product development for existing markets and customers;

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering management or related field;
• Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) is a plus;
• Proven experience in a senior leadership role with previous P&L management of at least $100M a must;
• Hands on experience with various processes of component manufacturing a plus;
• Strong personal organization, planning and administration skills;
• Proven ability to inspire, lead and develop diverse teams;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Demonstration of employment stability coupled with increasing responsibilities in assigned roles.
• Must be willing and able to travel extensively.
• Preferred applicants are those who have 20 years’ industry experience
