Project Manager at MBG

Our Project Managers are leaders. They drive every phase of construction. From precon to closeout, MBG PMs possess precision, accountability, and heart.

What Makes a Great Fit at MBG:

• 10+ years of ground-up construction experience with a GC (Projects $20MM+ in hospitality or multifamily a plus).
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong financial acumen and problem-solving skills.

• Safety-minded and detail-oriented.
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead field safety efforts and ensure consistent reporting.
• Oversee quality control, develop RFIs, submittals, and manage change orders.
• Interpret drawings/specs with full understanding of project scope.
• Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate with subcontractors.
• Build detailed cost estimates and identify value engineering opportunities.
• Manage subcontractor buyouts and draft contracts.
• Oversee financial health of projects: forecasting, billing, invoicing, cash flow.
• Generate job progress reports and lead project meetings.
• Coordinate with municipalities and regulatory bodies.
• Proactively monitor construction timelines and ensure project success.

Tools & Tech

• Proficiency in Procore, Buildr, MS Project, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
