Regional Sales Manager – Motion Control & Mechatronics

Do you have a passion for electromechanical systems and a talent for leading technical sales? Join a well-established global innovator in precision motion components and mechatronic systems. We're looking for a Regional Sales Manager to drive growth across Upstate New York and surrounding regions, based near Rochester, NY.

What You’ll Do

Lead a high-impact territory selling premium linear motion components like guideways and ball screws, while also supporting complex system-level solutions. You'll serve as both a strategic partner and tactical player, managing key accounts, prospecting new business, and eventually mentoring a growing team.

What We’re Looking For

• Technical degree required – Mechanical or Electrical Engineering strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of electromechanical systems
• 5+ years of technical sales/marketing experience
• Sales leadership experience is a big plus
• Experience with industrial automation or motion control is ideal
• Familiarity with companies like SMC, Festo, THK, etc., is a plus

Travel

• ~30% local travel
• ~2% overnight (trade shows, internal meetings)

Team & Support

• Strong technical and applications engineering support available
• Some transitional training with the outgoing manager through August
• This role will evolve into a player-coach position, adding at least one direct report
