“We were very lucky to have dynamic speaker Jan Brzeski of Arixa Capital as a speaker at our December 2020 CalAlts – Real Estate Special Interest Group (SIG) event (Debt & Equity in California, from a Real Estate Developer Perspective). Jan’s interaction and interplay with his co-presenter Larry Taylor of Christina was fantastic and resulted in a spirited discussion and a great comparison between the equity and debt side of real estate investing and how each approach potential deals. During the event Jan did a fantastic job discussing his areas of expertise in the real estate debt space, while still highlighting the other guest speaker. Jan has a conversational and engaging presence which made the webinar feel like a natural conversation among friends. The Arixa Capital marketing team also did a fantastic job marketing the event. Jan and the marketing team offered suggestions and collaboratively participated in the planning process which made a huge impact on social media and other networking avenues. Meetings generally range between 40 – 60 participants with 60 – 90 people that register. After working with Jan and Arixa, over 300 people registered with almost 200 attending! After the event, we saw an immediate increase in paid members. We hope to have Jan come speak at another event! ”

The Rise of Small Builders: Working-capital loans are the building blocks of niche construction

The Great Housing Workout
Arixa Capital Advisors, LLC
Back in early 2012, it wasn't clear what was next for the U.S. housing market. Prices had dropped every year for the past four years and there was a large inventory of vacant homes. In this white paper, we anticipated that more than 5 million homes would be purchased, renovated and rented out or resold--which is pretty close to what happened in the years that followed.
