It’s time to celebrate! 🎉🥂 As we celebrate a century of Winn-Dixie, we’re excited to recognize an associate who has been with us for more than half of that time! Meet Fred J., Meat Cutter, at Winn-Dixie store #2349 in Fort Pierce, Florida, who recently celebrated an incredible and inspiring 65 years of service! Fred started at his local Winn-Dixie in 1960 and is our longest-tenured associate. When asked the advice he would give to others, Fred simply shared, “Treat people the way you want to be treated.” Please join us in thanking Fred for 65 years of dedication and unwavering commitment to our customers and communities.

Celebrating and recognizing associates is an integral part of our people-first culture, so when we learned that Mikko J., a Grocery Associate at Winn-Dixie store #381 in Belle Glade, Florida, recently received a clean bill of health after her battle with cancer, we knew we had to give her a special shoutout. Mikko is known for her resilience, never letting her battle discourage her from doing the right thing. She continued to show up for her team throughout her journey and we couldn't be more proud. ⭐Winning by Making a Difference in our stores 🛒 Meet Jeronimo S., Cashier, at Winn-Dixie store #2380 in Lake Mary, Florida. Jeronimo recently helped a 102-year-old customer who arrived at his store exhibiting signs of confusion and speaking only Spanish. He assisted the customer in finding groceries and learned that the customer had walked to the store in the Florida heat. To ensure the customer got home safely and comfortably, Jeronimo went out of his way to arrange a cab. Jeronimo has only been with us for a few weeks, but he's already making a big impact. This summer, we're taking a stand against food insecurity and supporting local youth with a $100,000 donation to five Boys & Girls Clubs chapters across the Southeast. Through the Winn-Dixie Gives Foundation, each chapter will receive $20,000 in support—$10,000 in food donations and $10,000 in direct funding for memberships, meals and enrichment activities.
