We were thrilled to be at EAA AirVenture 2025, the world's largest aviation event! We didn't just enjoy the incredible views from the The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company blimp (seriously, what a scale!), we were also busy demonstrating Wing's drone delivery technology. 📦 It was amazing to showcase live deliveries each night at Pioneer Field, proving how our drones can operate safely and efficiently even in AirVenture's incredibly complex airspace. Curious about the science behind our drones’ propellers? ⚙️ Together with The Slow Mo Guys, we filmed our custom designed quiet 4-blade propeller at 20,000 frames per second to highlight the vortices (swirling air) that the blades create. What's cool is that the design of the propeller spreads out the sound it makes. This is useful because it helps keep drone noise to a minimum when packages arrive to homes.
