Our vision is that every athlete will be safe, supported, and strengthened through sport.
About us
The U.S. Center for SafeSport is an independent national nonprofit organization responsible for responding to and preventing emotional, physical, and sexual misconduct and abuse in the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Movement. We also serve as an educational resource for sports organizations at all level, from recreational to professional. Founded in 2017 by Congressional mandate, in the wake of highly publicized cases of athlete abuse, our staff is growing rapidly, now numbering over 100 in nearly 30 states. We recruit talented humans in a wide array of fields, from investigations and law to education and training, to audit and compliance, to marketing and communications. Our values of respect, accountability, inclusivity, integrity and wellness underscore all we do, and our passion for our work inspires us daily to build a culture—throughout our team and among athletes and allies everywhere—in which everyone feels safe, supported, and strengthened. If you have experienced abuse or misconduct—or if you have reasonable suspicion of abuse or misconduct inflicted on, or by, someone in the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Movement report here: https://xmrrwallet.com/cmx.puscenterforsafesport.org/report-a-concern/ To ensure the U.S. Center for SafeSport’s social media channels remain a place that is welcoming and constructive, U.S. Center for SafeSport (Center) administrators reserve the right to moderate comments, including deletion of replies or other content and interactions they deem to be in violation of the Center’s Social Media Community Standards (found below) or in violation of the social media platform’s community standards. Center administrators may also take action to block or report social media platform users for violations. See our full Community Standards here: www.uscenterforsafesport.org/terms-of-use

"On this International Olympic Day, I'm reflecting back on my time as a Paralympian and the support from those around me that allowed me to reach the gold. Making sure athletes have a safe and supportive environment to thrive and fulfil their potential is why I do this work. I've spent the past few weeks visiting athletes at training centers in Colorado Springs, CO, and Chula Vista, CA (where I trained years ago). I'm bringing their perspectives back to the U.S. Center for SafeSport so that we can continue to evolve to better serve athletes and work together with the entire sport community to ensure athletes feel safe, supported, and strengthened on and off the field." - April Holmes, MBA, PLY, ACC, CPCC, Interim CEO, U.S. Center for SafeSport #OlympicDay #InternationalOlympicDay #Athlete #Paralympian #USCenterForSafeSport #EndAbuse
