TCCA is owned by a group of farming families, primarily based in Tillamook County, Oregon. TCCA operates production facilities in Tillamook and Boardman, Oregon and employs more than 900 people throughout the state. The Tillamook Creamery is the largest tourist attraction on the coast of Oregon and one of the most popular in the state, attracting more than one million visitors each year. Updates

  • July is National Ice Cream Month, and there's no better way to celebrate than with a scoop of our Oregon Strawberry Ice Cream.🍓 Our Tillamook research & development scientists went to a local Oregon strawberry farm to taste test our ice cream alongside fresh picked strawberries – and the results are in: nothing tops our Oregon Strawberry Ice Cream, except extra-juicy strawberries of course. From our ice cream operators to our food scientists, thank you to every member of our team who makes National Ice Cream month extra sweet!

The ICDA attracts over 5,500 global entries every year, and this year we came away with 13 awards, including gold wins for our Tillamook Very Veggie, Jalapeño Honey and Original Farmstyle Cream Cheese Spreads. • Mooo-ve out with the old! Recognizing the importance of training the next generation of dairy makers, TCCA committed $1.5 million to help Oregon State University improve and update its facility with a new, state-of-the-art dairy processing lab. The updated facility will support the largest dairy research program in the western U.S., offering educational experiences, workforce training and serving as an incubator for dairy entrepreneurs. We’re thrilled to help equip students to innovate and push the dairy industry forward as they work alongside industry partners for research trials and new ideas in this space! • Our new Stewardship Report highlights meaningful progress we’ve made over the last year to drive impact in the communities we serve. Inside the report, you’ll find examples of how our co-op is taking environmental action, supporting farms and farmers, and strengthening connections among employees, neighbors and our fans. Our 2024 Stewardship Report is more than just a collection of numbers. While we do report on the amount of food waste we work to keep out of landfills, and the employee volunteer hours in our communities, at its core, this report is a reflection of how our people show up as good stewards day in and out. Read about their impact in the report here: https://xmrrwallet.com/cmx.plnkd.in/gYwqJpiq

  • June is National Dairy Month, and we’re proud to celebrate the people who make better dairy possible: our farmer-owners. As a farmer-owned cooperative since 1909, every month is Dairy Month for us. But this month, we’re pressing pause to recognize the hard work that happens 24/7, 365 days a year, because when you care as deeply as our farmer-owners do, it shows in every product we make.

  • Today we celebrate the grand opening of our new Decatur manufacturing facility, our first plant outside of Oregon and our only plant dedicated exclusively to ice cream production!  This week we've welcomed our employees, their families, contractors and community members to delight in product giveaways, facility tours, curated tastings and events. In true Tillamook fashion, we even hosted a ceremonial ice cream scooping — our take on a ribbon cutting, just sweeter. Bringing Tillamook to Decatur — both our high-quality ice cream production and our values-led culture  — marks a meaningful step in bringing our ice cream to more fans across the country. We are so proud to be part of the Decatur community, and for Decatur to be part of our Tillamook legacy.

  • Our Portland Outpost hosted our first Run and Walk Club event of the season!    Team members gathered to enjoy mid-day exercise and fresh air, while also hosting a shoe drive to support Transition Projects.   Transition Projects supports people at all levels of their journey from homelessness to housing. Whether it's providing shelter or shoes, Transition Projects has been providing lifesaving and life-changing services for people for over 55 years.    We’re proud to play a small part in helping our community get back on their feet. Thank you to our team members for making this possible!

  • Meet Hunter, a research & development scientist who helped create our new Tillamook Apple Crisp Ice Cream. Behind the vanilla ice cream, baked oatmeal streusel and crisp apple pieces, there’s a secret ingredient – a touch of home.  Our new limited edition ice cream is inspired by her mom’s apple crisp – featuring Honeycrisp apples and her buttery streusel – because our research & development team knows the best flavors don’t just come from a perfect formula. We believe innovation can come from anywhere, including family recipes. “This is why I do what I do,” she shares. “Both my mom and grandma have shaped how I think about food since an early age, and it feels really special to integrate those childhood memories they helped create into new products for everyone to enjoy.” #proudlytillamook

  • Nothing’s better than seeing—and hearing—nature thrive.   As a co-op founded by a collection of farmers, we’re committed to keeping farms thriving today, and for generations to come. And that starts with protecting watersheds and preserving ecosystems in the places we live and work.    With the help of many different organizations, TCCA recently supported the Tributary to Juno Creek Fish Passage and Wetland Restoration project. Our funding helped restore access to over a mile of fish habitat, clearing barriers so fish could migrate freely.   Visit our website to learn more about how, with our partners, we’re helping to restore fish habitats and revitalize streams on Tillamook farmland. https://xmrrwallet.com/cmx.plnkd.in/gYsCkfBJ
