Freedom looks different for every family. This Independence Day, we’re reminded that true freedom isn’t just about fireworks or flags—it’s about stability, safety, and support, especially for children navigating parental separation. At The Layne Project and The Layne Project 4 Families, we believe that freedom includes: The freedom for children to love both parents without being caught in the middle The freedom for families to access help, regardless of financial status The freedom to pause, reset, and realign with what matters most As we celebrate today, we hold space for the families doing the hard work behind the scenes—and the professionals walking alongside them. Here’s to building a future where every child feels safe, supported, and seen. #SafeguardingChildhoods #TheLayneProject #TLP4Families #FourthOfJuly #FreedomWithPurpose #FamilySupport #ChildAdvocacy

💛 Piece by piece, we’re helping families reclaim stability—and build freedom where it matters most: in the home. This spring, we gifted $733,000 in infrastructure—programing, systems, and technology—to help launch a new nonprofit: The Layne Project 4 Families. Now, they’re working to raise $20,000/month to: • Expand services by 60% • Offer free or reduced-cost access to co-parenting and trauma-informed programming • Help families rebuild with purpose and dignity This Fourth of July, we’re reminded that freedom isn’t just about independence—it’s about opportunity. Families deserve the opportunity to move forward without conflict holding them back. 💛 https://xmrrwallet.com/cmx.plnkd.in/gn6vS9QF Can’t give? Please consider sharing. One share could help us reach the next donor—or the next family. #PieceByPiece #TLP4Families #FamilyFreedom #TraumaInformed #SafeguardingChildhoods #SocialImpact

💔 Children don't get to opt out of conflict. When co-parents are at odds, kids live in the middle. Between homes. Between truths. Between two people they love. In BeH2O®, we start by asking parents to do one thing: Step into their child’s shoes. Because when you really feel what it’s like in the middle, you show up differently. This video features real words from real children. And a simple truth: Alignment doesn’t begin with agreement. It begins with empathy. 🌀 Ready to shift the current? ✨ Learn more about BeH2O®—a trusted system that’s helped hundreds of families move from conflict to collaboration. A New Chapter in a Shared Mission After 17 years of providing direct services to families navigating separation and conflict, The Layne Project is proud to announce an infrastructure transition that ensures greater sustainability and access for years to come. As of July 18, 2025, all supervised, therapeutic, assessment, and group services will be provided through The Layne Project 4 Families, a newly formed nonprofit committed to continuing this essential work. This change allows The Layne Project to focus on training, consulting, and systemic change—while the nonprofit carries forward the mission of serving families directly, with fewer financial barriers. 🔁 The transition will be seamless for current clients who sign a Release of Information form (sent via Lobbie). Those who do not will need a new intake with the nonprofit before continuing services. 📅 Temporary pause for new services: July 1–11 🎯 Full launch through TLP4Families: July 18 We are deeply grateful for the trust families place in us—and we remain committed to making every transition one that centers stability, continuity, and child well-being. #FamilySystems #NonprofitLeadership #ParentalSupport #SafeguardingChildhoods #TheLayneProject #TLP4Families

📺 From Idea to Impact Today on Great Day KC, Trina Nudson spotlighted the journey behind The Layne Project and the launch of The Layne Project 4 Families—a nonprofit designed to bring trauma-informed, evidence-based family services to our community. What began as a grassroots mission has now evolved into a scalable system: ✅ Direct services offered through The Layne Project 4 Families ✅ Coach certification and program licensing through The Layne Project ✅ Tools like BeH2O® and BeAligned™ that equip professionals to intervene earlier, more effectively It’s not just about helping individual families—it’s about changing the way systems respond to conflict, one coach, one case, one child at a time. Grateful to @GreatDayKC and @kansas city channel 4 for helping us amplify the work—and the vision. #SystemsChange #BeH2O #FamilyJustice #TheLayneProject #GreatDayKC #TraumaInformedCare

A Logo Reimagined—By the Heart of the Mission The original logo for The Layne Project was simple, powerful, and full of meaning: 🟥 A heart sheltered in a home—symbolizing what we’ve always aimed to do: protect, support, and center children and families. But when it came time to launch The Layne Project 4 Families, we didn’t just want a new logo. We wanted one that reflected the next generation of the mission—and the people it was built for. So we turned to someone who’s lived it from the inside: Jadah, our founder’s daughter. She didn’t just add a few elements. She translated meaning into form: 🔸 The heart remains—still at the center. 🟩 The green roof stays—sheltering all within. 🟧 The orange support beam echoes our foundation of safety. 🔷 And those blue lines? They’re more than steps. They’re structure. Direction. Stability. Because Jadah understood that families don’t just need support—they need a way forward. In her hands, the logo evolved from a symbol into a system. A visual reflection of what we do every day: hold space, provide strength, and guide families forward—piece by piece, step by step. #TheLayneProject4Families #CreatedWithPurpose #LogoWithMeaning #DesignedByJadah #LegacyInDesign #ChildCenteredCare #MissionDrivenDesign #SafeguardingChildhoods #VisualStorytelling #PieceByPiece #StepByStep #HeartOfTheMission #BuiltForFamilies

“I Knew It by the Red Door” I knew it by the red door. By the lion box and the laughing clown. By the giraffe on the wall and the zoo in the corner. I knew it because my feet wanted to run in. Not away. I don’t remember what we talked about last time. But I remember the color. The kindness. The calm. At The Layne Project 4 Families, kids don’t just show up. They arrive. #TheLayneProject4Families #SafeguardingChildhoods #ChildCenteredCare #FamilySupport #CoParentingSupport #WhereHealingHappens #SupervisedParentingTime #SafeSpacesForKids #PieceByPiece #BecauseKidsDeserveIt
