Regina received the gift of hearing seven years ago, and she shared with us how this experience has forever changed her life. ♥️ "When I heard on the radio that Starkey Hearing Foundation would assess and give free hearing aids to those with hearing challenges, I did not hesitate to keep the date. When I showed up, I was fortunate to be given support for both ears. Before I received my hearing aids, I had problems communicating with my customers. As a hairdresser, you always stand behind the client, and I had difficulty hearing or reading their lips. Since receiving these angels, they are doing wonders for my business, and I am grateful for the Starkey Hearing Foundation." #SoTheWorldMayHear #HearingStory

So the World May Hear
About us
Starkey Hearing Foundation, a global nonprofit founded by William F. Austin, gives the gift of hearing to people in need in the U.S. and around the world. According to the World Health Organization, disabling hearing loss affects around 466 million people worldwide, including 34 million children, yet many do not have access to the hearing healthcare. Our mission is to give the gift of hearing to those in need, empowering them to achieve their potential. We believe hearing is a vehicle to reflect caring and to improve the lives of individuals, their families, and communities. By collaborating with governments, nongovernment organizations, and health leaders, our goal is to make hearing healthcare services more accessible for people around the world. Today we continue to travel the globe helping people in need, and to date have given the gift of hearing in more than 100 countries. Connect with us on social media by searching Starkey Cares on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube or by visiting our website.

We're thrilled to announce the beginning of a new Starkey Hearing Institute program in El Salvador! 🇸🇻🎉 We've partnered with the Universidad Dr. José Matías Delgado to offer a four-month program for students to learn the WFA Model, participate in Active Care outreach and build their skills to provide life-changing hearing care in Latin America. This marks another powerful step toward creating a sustainable, community-led hearing care network around the world. Together, we're training the next generation of hearing care professionals — right where they're needed most. #SoTheWorldMayHear #WFAModel #HearingMatters

We believe sustainable hearing care starts with a community-based model. In a recent Hearing Health & Technology Matters podcast, our Chairman and President, Richard S. Brown, and Executive Director of Starkey Hearing Institute Zambia, Alfred Mwamba, shared how we're reshaping global hearing health. From Zambia to the Philippines, the impact is real — and it's growing. We're proud to lead the movement that centers on people, purpose and lasting change. 🎧 Watch the full podcast episode here: https://xmrrwallet.com/cmx.plnkd.in/d9Yw7dXZ #SoTheWorldMayHear #HearingHealthcare

Our team is delivering the gift of hearing to hundreds of Filipinos in need, sparking tears of joy, laughter and celebration.🦻🙌 You can feel the power of the impact the Starkey Hearing Institute and University of Santo Tomas are making. It takes a village of hearing specialists and supporters practicing the WFA Model to make outreach events like this possible. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who is helping us make hearing healthcare more accessible around the world. Hear more from our President and Board Chair, Richard S. Brown, and Vice Chair Dr. Gyl Kasewurm. ⬇️ #StarkeyHearingInstitute #SoTheWorldMayHear

Toky's story is a reminder of what's possible when purpose and opportunity meet. ❤️ From a chance meeting in Madagascar to traveling the world providing better hearing to those in need, his journey is an inspiration to us all. Toky was a part of the first graduating class at the Starkey Hearing Institute Zambia and has become an integral part of our training team. Thank you, Toky, for being a role model for our current and future Champions. It's people like you who are making a lasting impact on local communities! #SoTheWorldMayHear
From the parking lot in Antananarivo to the global stage — Toky Arison's story is one I will never stop sharing. We first met in 2013 at Starkey Hearing Foundation's second hearing event in Madagascar. Toky was just 22 years old, a young man who didn't know much about the world yet, but Bill Austin and I saw something in him instantly: a caring heart, a sharp mind and a deep desire to serve. Our paths crossed because they were meant to. Toky joined the very first class of the Starkey Hearing Institute in Zambia, and I've watched with pride as he's grown into a true world servant and a global citizen. Today, he's leading our Institute program with the University of Santo Tomas, changing lives every single day through better hearing. Toky, I will forever be grateful for the moment our lives collided. 🦋❤️ #WednesdayWisdom

Providing access to hearing healthcare goes far beyond a traditional clinic setting, which is what our WFA Model is all about. By offering hearing screenings, Active Care and fittings in local communities across Africa, our team is opening the door to better hearing and brighter futures every day. This is what access in action looks like. 💛 #SoTheWorldMayHear
