Meet Lesly Ramos, Respiratory Therapist at Samaritan Hospital (pictured with her Respiratory Therapist RT Educator Nathan Yellico). We are grateful for Lesly’s dedication and excited to see where her career takes her! "My time at Samaritan Hospital has been an incredible experience. Starting as an RTA allowed me to become familiar with the hospital environment, team, equipment and most importantly, the patients. I’m excited to take the next step in the Respiratory Therapy residency program, where I look forward to my growth, expanding my skills, and making meaningful contributions to patient care!” Interested in learning more about our Residency Program? Dr. David Kozminski of Capital Region Urology, a practice of St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates, is now performing the Bulkamid procedure. He is one of three surgeons at Capital Region Urology offering the minimally-invasive treatment at St. Peter's and Samaritan hospitals. Bulkamid is for women with stress urinary incontinence (SUI), which causes urine leaks during normal daily activities such as coughing, laughing, exercising or lifting an object. Bulkamid is a series of three to four small injections that takes just 10 – 15 minutes, delivering symptom relief for up to seven years in many patients. Sun's out, fun's out at Mercy Cares for Kids! 🌞🫧 The students at our nationally recognized Early Childhood Program are having a lot of fun this summer, with field trips, lots of time outside, and bubble parties! We are so grateful for the opportunity to help nurture and care for them at this stage in their development. 💕
