Last night, we joined AltaMed Health Services, Coalition of Orange County Community Health Centers, California Medical Association, and California Primary Care Association to host Voices for OC Health: A Town Hall on What's Ahead. It was an evening of truth, action, and community—spotlighting the devastating impact of the "One Big Beautiful Bill" on Orange County’s health care system. The event featured a powerful panel discussion with our very own Alexis McGill Johnson, President & CEO of Planned Parenthood Federation of America; Krista Hollinger, MPH, President & CEO of Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties; and our Medical Director, Dr. Janet Jacobson. Thank you to everyone who came out to support and hear from our experts! This event may be over, but our commitment to health care in our community continues 💪.

According to the California Department of Public Health, STIs like trichomoniasis, syphilis, and gonorrhea are on the rise statewide. At Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties, we designed an "opt-out" STI testing approach with convenience and dignity in mind that is helping to identify asymptomatic cases, treat patients early, and slow the spread.
